Plushenko was never boring. Until 2010 I guess.

Speaking of right now - Elladj Balde used to be a more interesting performer. CoP has done its best to take that away from him.

He is quite rough around the edge.

Right now there is no number 1 US man. They are all inconsistent or have major weaknesses. Jeremy is just a headcase Josh is 18 and learning Adam doesn't skate big and doesn't have a consistent quad and Max without his quads is no threat to anyone and Jason doesn't have the quad yet. Any one of these men could be number 1 or drop to number 8. Miner seems done and Dornbush hasn't skated clean i think since 2011 Nationals.
