Now I'm feeling stupid. Hubby told me I'd have to pick up the kids from school on my own and I asked why I would do that on a Saturday?

So here's hoping I don't have problems watching skating on CBC online
I most be missing something about watching live. I can't find the Compulsory Dance anywhere for Skate Amercia. I've been trying from just before it was to start and now there's about 15 mins left! Will it be available to watch later? I have found the video section but it has Worlds and BMO This is my first time trying to watch on CBC live and its making me very GRUMPY .

I do have Bold so Skate Canada should be easier for me and I can record it for my in-laws who only get over the air channels and not much of them living out in the country.

You have to use a proxy server, and set your computer's IP as if it's a Canadian one.

Any suggestions on servers that won't make my broadband slower than a dial-up connection? I tried a proxy server for skate america and the internet became soooo slugish...

www.hide-my-ip.com is a good software, and it does not appear to slow down the streaming. Unfortunately, I don't know if they give you the flexibility to choose IP addresses from different countries especially if you're only using their trial version for free.

Hide my ip didn't let me choose the country (it routed me to the US).
Still trying to get the web based proxys to work...
May be daum will have something... *sigh* ...and it does. But so far, only restricted access.
And the web proxy didn't fool CBC...

The schedule will load on the right hand side of page, when the competition has started there will be a button that says WATCH. Just click on that and it will load
