I hope you'll all forgive me, but for some reason, I'm having a hard time getting into the pairs competitions this year. I put off doing the previews till the very last moment, and they are a little sketchier and a little less well thought out. I hope you pairs enthusiasts will add lots of details to the program!
This competition features the duel of the quad salchow throws. K&S and V&T have both landed one in competition. McLaughlin/Brubaker will be performing their excellent lateral triple twist. And of course, Canadians will be cheering on Dube and Davison who are the reigning worlds' bronze medallists in pairs.
If I were there, I'd be waiting to see the creative lifts, pair spins, transitions and death spirals of Evora /Ladwig. Then I'd be wanting to throw a fit when they didn't get credit for them.
It's a good thing, I guess, that I won't be there
But if Evora/Ladwig skate well, please cheer loudly for them! Please?
