So how was the U.S. broadcast of men's LP?

I'm curious, could you give examples of her analyses that are not reliable.

For example, shizuka is good at catching slight UR and slight doubt-footing. She is also very knowledgeable of CoP. But Midori is not very detail- or analytically-oriented. She tends to be more emotionally engaged and excited with the skater. So it's fun to watch but I would rely more on another expert that often pairs with her. Having said that, she is certainly more knowledgeable than the announcer.

I, too, felt they should have shown Carriere -- I can understand why they showed the Swedish guys (and I'd never seen either one, so was glad they did), but why in the world did they show Davydov instead of Carriere or Voronov???? It's not like he lit the place on fire or anything. Was glad they showed Kevin, tho, since it may be his last Worlds...:cry:

As for Button -- over the last few years, I think he really is starting to lose it; I don't know WHAT he's babbling about half the time. He can still come up with a very apt, hysterical comment now and then, but..... He absolutely infuriated me with Verner -- Tomas has ONE bad night and Button pretty much goes off about what a head case he is and how he has to understand why he makes those mistakes. ????????????? One bad night, and now Tomas is the second coming of Emanuel Sandhu?? And comparing him to Bobek?? If I were Tomas, I'd go upside Button's head for THAT one.....

I was so mad not to see Sergei Voronov's and Bebe Liang's LPs. I really wish they had aired Laura Lepisto and Yannick Ponsero too! :(
