So You Think You Can Dance - Anyone Watching??

Forgot to mention.... I managed to get tickets for this year's tour stop at the Meadowlands in NJ. Section 101 row 8 - directly in front of the stage, with the exception of the floor seats.

Last year's shows sold out in about 5 minutes. I don't know if the venues are bigger this year, but the above show is not sold out, although the available seats are upper level.

Tonichelle -

Lauren and Pasha were eliminated. The final will be Sabra, Lacey, Danny and I can never remember his name - the blond guy, Phil?

Does anyone else here besides me find the hostess a little annoying? I don't know why but she kind of gets on my nerves.

As hosts go Cat is great. At least she sounds intelligent. Most of them just read off a teleprompter and look pretty. Being annoying comes with the territory

I am so so so sad about Pasha.:frown:
He is truly a delicious Russian treat. ;)

I don't "get" Neil as a dancer, but he is cute. I understand girls voting for him more than I understand Natalie outlasting Allison last season and Donyelle making it all the way to the final.

Go Danny and Sabra!

Yeah, Boston is all sold out by now. I wanted to get tickets as presents for my parents and grandparents (they have their 35th and 60th wedding anniversaries respectively, and all 4 love this show) - but it's now only available on e-bay and other sites like that, seriously overpriced. Clearly, some people bought the tickets to sell them immediately for profit. :frown2:

I like Cat, I think she does a good job. She is better than the host on "ON the LOT!!! She mainly poses all the time with hand on hip and low cut dresses.

I think Pasha should win by default just based on him wearing suspenders with no shirt. Now, if you think that's a dumb thing to say then I think that's the only reason Neil is in the finals. Neil should not be in the finals when you're up against Danny & Pasha.

Glad Sabra is in........Lauren or Lacy to me are equal and actually I would have rather seen Lauren in. I am so tired of the look Lacey has.....Look at me and aren't I cute!! NO!!!

I am so glad that Sabra made it into the finals = I'm not happy that Danny made it- I think he was just as surprised as I was == I think that Pasha is a way better dancer and he should be in the finals

Why aren't you happy about Danny?? Just wondering why? I also think Pasha should have been in the finals and I am very happy about Sabra.

LOVED the show tonight... it was great...

and I finally *get* Danny. He was so much fun to watch tonight...

Lacy's still my girl... I really thought Sabra was not as on as normal... but I didn't really get into her style anyway....

Neil and Danny were both great!

I really thought Danny covered himself in glory during his solo. It was a great treat for me as a fan of the ballet that he chose to do a straight ballet solo without too many contemporary contorsions.

Loved Neil and Lacy too, but I think the exclamation point was put at the end of the sentence when Sabra and Danny did that hot and hippy Cha Cha. I don't know if it measured up technically as a ballroom routine, but both dancers were really showing their strong backs and hips -- loved it!

The winner? I'd have to say its gotta be between Sabra and Danny, with Danny edging out Sabra on the strength of that amazing solo.

Just my opinion of course! Overall, I think everyone is a winner including the viewing audience. Its so nice to see dance at this level highlighted and dancers getting the spotlight shown on them and them not having to back up a singer.

Thank you Nigel for the great show!

Tenorguy, thanks for your assessment on the dancers. Yes, Danny was amazing last night.  I loved the cha cha, he totally belonged on the Hot Tamale train. Anyhow, this is just my opinion but I think either Neil or Lacey will win. I base that on the fact that Neil is still in the finals, which he should not be. As for Lacey, one of the judges said it best..........you know how to work the crowd and the judges. She has a real problem being on camera. She is such a turnoff to me. I see so much passion in Danny and Sabra. Anyhow, I am preparing myself for tonight that the best dancers won't win

Did anyone else like the foxes routine that the judges dissed? I thought it was fantastic. I thought it was very mean to the young ladies as well to respond they way they did. These girls took the choreography seriously, learned it and executed it.

Neil seems to have an huge number of fans so it wouldn't surprise me if he wins. I like them all so I don't care who wins. (I don't think it'll be Lacey tho.)

I'm so happy = just watched the final show = America got it right = Sabra won == she deserved it .

Actually their hip and footwork was very, very weak for Latin. Sabra I found not nearly sharp enough in any aspect. Danny made up for the lack of foot pressure and full Cuban hip action by having a lovely upper back and shoulders.

The voters got it right--Sabra and Danny the final two, Sabra the winner! Yes, Danny's great, but he'll be fine. Sabra's excelled at everything they asked her to do, she has great personality on stage, and for only dancing four years? Wow.

Although I'm Ok with Sabra, I do feel for Danny. They both were great.
