Hi guys,

I just wanted to know if anyone going to SOI Pittsburgh is going to the busses after for autographs, because my aid Jeanie and I have absolutely NO clue where to go to for this, and would really appreciate if someone could either meet us at the entrance after the show or give us directions over the phone or something as to how to get to the busses. I tried this three years ago but the arena personel were of no help at all, they acted like they didn't know what we were talking about (I went with different people last time) so I would really appreciate some assistance here! Please if anyone's going, let me know by replying here and I'll PM you a phone number to get in touch with my aid. Besides, I think it would be fun to meet other GS members perhaps during intermission!

Hope someone replies soon! Love you guys!

Have fun at the show and good luck getting near the busses!! At some venues there just isn't access to them., but maybe you'll get lucky!! I have no idea how Pittsburg is set up, but come back and tell us all about it!!!!

Actually, I don't think it's really an accepted thing for fans to approach the busses for autographs. The cast needs to get to it's next destination and prepare for the next show.
The arena employees are probably told to dissuade fans from trying to get to the busses and certainly aren't given permission to tell fans how to get to them.
It's also a security issue.

Well, we did manage to find our way there, even if it isn't good etiquette lol. Mike and Jen were the first ones to approach us, and I told them I would love to meet Ilia especially, and he did come over and had his picture taken with me! Hope it came out. He was very sweet, they all were. I also met Todd, who actually stayed and looked at something that another couple brought with them, and the driver called out, "Hey, Todd, come on, let's go!" He just called back, "Hang on a second!" He was very kind, I got my picture taken with him too. It was an awesome night!

Next year, I hope to have on-ice seats. 4th row was too high up for my sight, and we were on the end so much of the action was on the other end of the rink and was hard to see, but I brought my telescope so I could see okay enough. I also want to join the fan club so I can hopefully meet them backstage and have more time with them when they aren't so rushed (and when it's not FREEZING outside!). I'll post a review of the show in The Edge soon!

Well good for you!!! I'm not sure I'd have the guts to find the busses and hang out waiting for them!! I'm glad it work out for you!
Just to let you know I'm in the fan club and there haven't been any fan club related meet and greets that I know about, hopefully they willl start doing that!!! Looking forward to your review...I'll be seeing SOI tomorrow in Albany, NY!!!

Jeanie wants to know if the "backstage tour" they refer to involves meeting skaters, which I don't think they do according to you skamper, but she just wants to make sure. Also what kind of seating do you get? Is it closer than what we had?
