Standing Ovations Away from Home

Adding this one because Anna and Luca were genuinely touched to see people standing for their program at Skate Canada 2016. I was there in the audience. It wasn't a full standing ovation but still noteworthy because this was during a competition early in the season away from home, where they were also battling it out for the bronze with Giles/Poirier. It wasn't an instantaneous standing ovation but one where more and more people stood up in appreciation. I believe they got standing ovations every time they performed this Chaplin.

Mao SP at 2014 worlds. That was after the Sochi disaster, the hard comments of Japanese Fed president, people telling her to ditch the 3A. But she came back stronger, with a gorgeous 3A, and delivered a masterpiece, the best SP of the season.
Crowd was obviously in heaven.

While I agree that was a beautiful moment, the standing O is not away from home (home country).

ETA - She did get a very well-deserved standing O in Boston .

I was rewatching Misha Ge performances recently and I realised he received standing ovation in Helsinki after his long program

I was also thinking of Misha Ge. I remember Skate Canada in Mississauga, On, I think it was 2016. He got the biggest standing ovations of the whole competition.

And what a lovely skate....well deserved that standing ovation!
