It's not "some flu" when, in one of the happiest days on her career somebody can't freaking speak or smile standing on the podium. She was exhausted and seriously ill and should be left home to recover, instead of travelling to Saransk at -20 Celsius.

This is a nice point which explains, why Germany lost and Russia won the war.

Russians are not immune to cold and Germans never got to the really cold parts of Russia (not even Saransk).
yep
its strange how its common opinion in the west that Russia always won b/c of the cold (Nepoleon & all)

get well Stasya bb!:console:
it was really pointless to send here there!:palmf:
How cuold ppl in charge NOT understand that competing ill can only bring bad results & hurt her rep!!

Nope, probably Russians have problem with -80°C, but they are pretty OK with -2° walking arround with T-shirts and eating ice-cream.
Just an example from Katharinenburg.

Russians are best at travelling 500km at -20C with unhealed flu for unnecessary fs competitions. :sarcasm:

I allways wonder if the girls are OK with the fact, that some guys rip their streams and re-upload it.
Well, they stream it worldwide for a reason, don't they?
I guess free publicity and pinch of vanity makes periscope your friend.

Well, just let me tell you, that that Girl-account you just linked to, has his 2nd generation,
because his 1st account had to deal with several complaints. Kuchwalska was pretty set up,
Nikitina was set up, and many more were really p!$$ed, because that guy "presents" the
girls mostly in a bad way.
Also, periscope was intented to stream, not to make podcasts or whatever. And many of
the girls are ~14 and pretty stupid. Just take a look at Mitro's account as an example.

^^
Wow, you're so knowledgeable about these things! :agree:
If only was I aware of half of that, it would make me so much better fan than I am.

This is the first time i write in this thread but i couldnt stop myself anymore from doing this. Stasya had a pop in her 3loop and that meant that she earned the score of 58.90 . She seemed almost devastated . However ! What a grace !! What a passion this girl has for figure skating ! Although 16 and still in juniors , as she said in her interview everyone has its own path. I love her programms. Especially the short programm. I love the black swan and the step sequences have that specific part where the swan dies! And she is so passionate in that. I almost cried. I barely kept my tears. She was feeling it , she was like she indeed was dying after that mistake in the loop. Maybe that ''helped'' her in this specific choreography. Thank you Stasya. You are the first person in figure skating ( after Joshua Farris ) that makes me feel so much conection with an athlete. I really hope she continues and i really hope she doesnt get away of the international level due to the serious competition. As much as i tend to get surprised by techicial beasts like Zagitova , Stasya has all the package when she delivers clean. From now on i am a dedicated fan and i really hope she goes clean tommorow and podium !! She deserves it !!!

Such a special skater and although the loop pop 'n' fall was sad, near enough everything else was gorgeous. Can't wait for her fs and hope she goes out there and 'slays' but most importantly enjoys herself :-)
