Now that Stasya gets to go to the Worlds I really wish Russian Fed would have sent Nastia Gubanova to the Junior Worlds.

They should have done it anyway, Nastya needed that competition, Stasya didn't. Not surprising Nastya has decided she needs to move to Buianova to have any chance of ever being selected for anything. And now Stasya is just getting more hate over this as if she herself had decided doing two competitions like this in a row is a great idea.

however, I'm very happy for Stasya and hope that she proves the haters wrong. my goodness, you'd think she murdered Carolina or Yuna, the way people carry on, saying that they hope Stasya bombs spectacularly just to send a laugh to the Fed... to that, I hope that Stasya skates cleanly and places respectably in the top 10!! Out of all the skaters attending Worlds, Stasya's 8th best on the SB list, and even if Gabby overtakes her, can still be in the top 10 :)

I hope she 'll do well but there is that uncertainty how she will cope with the pressure. Normally there won't be much pressure on a debutante and indeed logically all the pressure of saving 3 spots falls rightfully on Alina & Maria, but Stanislava is quite unique in that how much hate she attracts for a relatively unknown skater so the pressure is big just to prove herself. Go Stanislava!

It has not been officially confirmed about Nastya yet. But it is not surprising - at the moment it seems like virtually any coach is more influential than Turenko in terms of what they can get for their students. And if anyone has clout it is Buianova.

And Masha can screw up again, she doesn't have the best track record of the second half of the season, and not have to cope with 1/4 as much hate as Stasya. Although you'd think more would be expected of her than a relative unknown.

No, people think she "murdered" Nastya. I am just hoping that if Nastya moves to Buianova and gets her influence behind her, people will stop blaming all of Nastya's problems on Stasya.

I don't think Maria would bomb on Anna P's scale, even with some major mistakes she should stay in top 10 which will be enough for 3 spots (provided Alina is in 1 -2)
I thought it was confirmed about Gubanova (unofficially)?

Anyway, my concern is that the whole situation puts a lot of pressure on Valentina - she now has 2 her charges at Worlds with a lot to prove... I hope Olga will be in Milan too
 
I wish Stanislava to deal with all the pressure she has to face now. Let her make both programs the way she can be proud of.
 
Not the best short, still she looked lovely and sold the program quite well, apart from jumps.

Well, sometimes it happens. But she is young and there is no way to give up. I believe she will put herself together.

The year after this one, it will become absurd. This is last year before quads era for Stasya to establish herself with "normal" jump layout.
