Stars On Ice tickets - started going on sale

I got my pre-sale order form for SOI. I was surprised. They replaced the mid-week Trenton stop with Saturday in Newark (March 8th) at the Prudential Center. Since I anticipate that my niece's 6th birthday party will be on 3/8, I'm going to buy a ticket for the Philadelphia show (Thursday, 3/13 - which means I'll probably take a 1/2 day off and meet an old friend for an early dinner before the show at 7PM. Getting to Philly after a standard work day would just be too hectic).

I'm so excited because Shen and Zhao will be touring with SOI, as well as Sasha and Dubreuil and Lauzon. Kulik is noted as appearing in 20 shows. Todd, Yuka, Weiss, Ina & Zimmerman and Jen Robinson round out the show and there will be other guests.

I was very sorry to learn that SOI is not coming to the Trenton venue this season. I like the Sovereign Bank Arena as it has an intimate feel, the parking is reasonable & easy, and we just happen to live only 30 minutes from the venue. We will go to our Philly venue (for our local show), and to the new venue in Newark. Thank goodness the Newark show is on a weekend! We're looking forward to seeing the returning cast members, Dubreuil & Lauzon, and Shen & Zhao.

I'm waiting for my tickets for Philly to arrive. I got a letter awhile ago saying that the order would be "filled soon". I ordered the "VIP" seats through the fan club for this one year...I'm anxious to see who I might meet from on-line...besides the two wonderful ladies I've already met regularly, and a few others who have also been there for our unofficial "meet and greet" in the lobby.
I'm disappointed it's a Thursday, though. But then again, if he can swing it, DH might take a 4 day, or 3 day, weekend. He doesn't like the idea of having to think about working the next day when we're out for a special event.

I will be at the Philly show also and would love to be part of the unofficial meet and greet. I also got that same letter in the mail about my order being filled soon as I ordered my tickets the same way NJ did. I am looking forward to the show. This will be my first time seeing it in Philly and not on Long Island.


FYI...It was just announced on the site that Jame and David will be performing in 20 cities and Ilia will be performing in the other 20 cities but it doesn't yet say which cities!!

Yes I will be at Skate America for all 4 days!! If you are going to be there then we have to meet up. Maybe I should wear a name tag that says Hi my name is silly...which it is really Cathy by the way!! So lets meet up. I will probably be coming back to Jersey on Thursday night since the practice sessions end at 3 pm and it's only about 1 1/2 hours back to my house. But I will be staying over the other nights. I will be staying at the Comfort Inn- Reading. It's about 2 miles or so away from the arena. Got two free nights there so it works for me. I am sure it will be a good time.

To NJ...I sent you an e-mail at your personal e-mail address since it would not let me send you one through this forum. It's from my work e-mail but the heading says..hi it's silly incase you are wondering. Based upon S&P's website and SOI's, Ilia and S&P are splitting the tour - each participating in 20 shows on the US tour. I really hope Ilia goes to Philly. I've always enjoyed his skating. I've enjoy S&P, too, but I've seen them skate the last several years.

I've read several places that Kulik will do the first 10 and the last 10 shows and S&P will do the 20 middle shows.

Well I saw on another message board that Ilia has the 1st ten SOI shows and the Last ten...with Sale-Pelletier taking the middle twenty! If it stays like that I believe Pittsburgh is the 1st show of the final ten shows!! So you might luck out and get Ilia!! Although nothing has been officially posted on the SOI website as of yet!!
