Stars On Ice U.S. Tour 2026 / April-May

Do you know what the Peacock special is about? I was about to cancel my Peacock, maybe I should wait a little longer.
The 2026 Impact Summit is underway in Colorado Springs, Colorado, this week.

Headlining the week, for the first time since the Olympic Winter Games in Milan in February, the entire U.S. Olympic Figure Skating Team came together for a celebratory Toast to Milan event.

Hundreds of people turned out to see, hear and get autographs from their Olympic heroes during an intimate gathering on Wednesday at the Ent Center for the Arts on the campus of the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.

The 90-minute show, taped for NBC's Peacock network and slated to air May 30, featured emcee and 2018 Olympian Adam Rippon. The charismatic host fired up the crowd while introducing skaters from each of the four disciplines; he asked them questions that ranged from their competitive mindset at the Games, to what foods they enjoyed most in Milan, to their favorite off-ice experiences.

Two-time Olympian Jason Brown engaged with the audience and helped relay questions from the crowd.

"It was special to reflect on everything Team USA accomplished and celebrate the hard work and moments that made the Games so meaningful," said Emilea Zingas, who with Vadym Kolesnik, finished fifth in ice dance at their first Olympics. "We feel incredibly honored to have been recognized in such a special way and are so thankful to have been part of such an amazing night."

"The Toast to Milan was such an incredible evening, and we are so grateful to be reunited with our teammates, team leaders, doctors and officials who shared in this unforgettable journey," Kolesnik added.

This one is from Figure Skating in Harlem Gala. The Blade Angels were asked about funny backstage moments during the tour and Amber had a story to tell :)

SOI Wenatchee, WA (Friday May 22nd)
Spouse and I drove from Boise (I had picked this one over SLC since it was on a day I already had off & we had been to a SOI show at the Town Toyota Center in 2014). We stayed overnight and walked to the Town Toyota Center. When I looked online, there was ticket availability on the sides, with the other sections showing no availability. Not sold out, but close. After the Stargazer I heard the arena employees talking about alternative parking since the main lot was full.
Treated to the Stargazer. Q & A were Ellie & Danny + Liam Kapeikis. First time we've done the Stargazer. Danny was working on his 2 axles, landing about half of them. Ellie participated for a bit and I would say was on the ice the shortest amount of time. It was interesting to see Jason in the first warm-up working on some dance moves with Christina, Isabeau, Anthony and Evan. He also participated in the last warm-up for a bit too.
Before the Stargazer and after, the lines were very long for the merchandise. I might have treated myself to a signed program. I waited in line for about 15min getting into line right after the Stargazer and right before they opened the doors for the show. Lots in line behind me and the lines stayed that way until the start of the show. Saw a lot of people wearing SOI and "Blade Angel" gear.
I enjoyed the show itself and would imagine the group numbers are more comfortable now with the tour close to completion. Not much jumping and my husband commented on that. He doesn't really watch a lot of skating and thought there would have been more jumping. Like Spokane, I don't think Isabeau jumped at all (not the warm-up or show). Her spins are fantastic though. Alyssa, Amber, and Ilia got the loudest crowd responses. I thought Jason's programs were fabulous and I could watch him all day.

Thank you. I asked another forum member about his/her/them/they 's impression and it was about like mine and yours.
Next year will be interesting. Isabeau, Alysa, Amber, Ilia, Jason could well still be around. I predict lower attendance. We shall see how many shows they put on next year.
(Rant alert: I am an old fuddy duddy. I think that if a venue puts on an event there should be parking. Free parking. Not $50 parking. And the attendants only had scanners for prepaid spots otherwise you had to stare at a sign and figure out how to Pay????? Do you pay going to a grocery store for parking? Walmart? )
Not dissing any of the skaters....
I have been to lots of ice shows.....and sat with my wife on the ice.
1998 Champions on Ice saw 70 shows in 57 cities
There were 30 heavy hitters from all over the world.
Then I discovered competition, but those days of MK et al were the bomb for ice shows.
Go to Youtube and put in

2002 Champions On Ice 1998-2001 Vol 3

You will see......Tell me Rudy dont jump.....

I saw the show last evening in Tempe (Phoenix) and absolutely loved it! It was the whole regular cast plus Andrew Torgashev. Did not do the stargazer pre-show as I had other things going on in the afternoon.
What really struck me was how high energy all the skaters were at one of the last stops of packed tour. The impression was that everyone gave one hundred percent, no fatigue showing. Even Alysa, who's life is a whirlwind right now. It was particularly nice to see Jason Brown's showmanship along with very stable triple jumps. He had me a bit concerned after Nationals and his choice to skip Worlds. Isabeau also really impressed me here. Her playfulness and projection into the crowd has come a long way since her earlier days.
The way it was set up with the skaters each doing a bit of their Olympics programs, plus a show number and some great group stuff was pretty cool. 2.5 hours is just about the right duration, so the adults stay interested and kids don't doze off.
I hope they can achieve something similar next year, but the Team Gold theme was what made this so special. Thumbs up to all!
