To be honest, there wasn't much wrong with this programme. The reason she is down in 26th is because of one small but very costly mistake. But, I'll get to it.
Her opening combination, the Triple Lutz-Double Toe produced something that I have not seen for a long time when checking out the protocols on my kids - a completely neutral response. 0 in GOE and 0 from all the Judges.
The Triple Loop was a bit wobbily on landing, so she got -0.35 in GOE and three 0's and six -1's from the Judges. I liked the way she attached her next element, the Flying Camel Spin, onto the end of it. To me it looked good, but it got a really mixed response from the Judges. Judge 7 gave it +1; five Judges gave it 0; two Judges gave it -1; and Judge 2 gave it -2.
Mind you, it got -0.09 in GOE, so that wasn't so bad.
There was a positive response to the next element, the Layback Spin. But, again, the Judges marks varied. Three Judges gave 0; three Judges gave +1; two Judges gave +2; and Judge 7 gave +3. The GOE was also positive, at +0.24.
The Step Sequence looked very good. But, there was one point towards the end of it when she put her hand down and I wasn't sure if it was a mistake or part of the choreography. And the Judges didn't know what to make of it either. Admittedly, there were no minuses. But, there was a 0 from Judge 2; five +1's; two +2's; and +3 from Judge 7. The GOE was the largest of the entire programme, at +0.42.
Then the music changed to the nicer version, and she had a horrible stumble on her Axel, which meant that she singled it. And unfortunately, that meant that the element was invalidated.
Her final element, the Change Foot Combination Spin, had a similar moment to the Step Sequence. And, again, I wasn't sure if it was a mistake or part of the choreography. The Judges were more uniform this time, though, with seven of them giving ); and two of them giving +1. The GOE was +0.03.
I have no idea what it was for, but Stefania also got a deduction for a time violation. She didn't finish after the music, so something earlier on must have gone on for longer than it was supposed to.
Stefania is currently 0.24 points behind 25th position, Kateřina HANUŠOVÁ (CZE), and 0.71 points ahead of 27th position, Anna LEVKOVETS (KAZ). All three are part of a larger group where 9 skaters were covered by 5.86 points, from Julija POLNIUK (POL) in 22nd position, 2.07 points ahead of Stefania, down to Babeth HANSSON-OSTERGAARD (DEN) in 30th position, 3.79 points behind Stefania.
All of which means that there is a LOT of potential for movement within this group. So, Stefania would need to put in a good performance to make sure that she moves up rather than down.
WELL DONE STEFANIA!!!

When I saw Stefania was skating to this song, I thought "Thank goodness it's a cover and not Elvis". Because I'm not a big fan of Elvis.
But, that cover was brutal! When I read that it was a dark version, I was expecting it to be another version I had heard. But, the version I was expecting only appeared for the last 20 seconds or so of the programme.
Oooh. Horrible stumble just after the music changed toward the end. But, on the whole, not a bad skate.
She seemed annoyed. But, at least she had SuperSimone to cuddle!
Into 16th.
