Still Waiting for the GPF to be on American TV?

I understand the reason for not showing Spoilers but is it still necessary? With so many posters who have either seen the competition, seen the youtubes, and discussing madly in the GP section, it's a pity we have to be so careful in The Edge with generalities - not specific to the competition.

I would love to hear from whomever is waiting for the American TV to show its abridged versions of the competitions.

I just think it does not matter to me how the event turned out as long as I see it eventually. So all you posters biting finernails, let's hear from you.

I think people can discuss the GP final as long as they have a spoilers warning in the subject and at the beginning of the post.

What do you all think?

Gpf

The outcome probably would not be of interest to the average American viewer. No more say than the results of the World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships. Skating is not alone. Tennis has declining TV ratings.

No problem. If someone is waiting for the TV showing then so be it, but I want to hear from the fans who want Spoilers if they are still around?

Call me what you want, you will anyway. Did you really hate your father?

Does the average american viewer post on GS?

It's really a simple question. Do the fans of skating on GS still want to be warned if someone is writing about the outcome of a competition that has not yet appeared on US TV? It's just a survey.

I find it hard to believe people cannot know the outcome of an event until it is shown on tv if they are involved in skating. Just walk into any arena and people are talking about it. I have no problem with people posting about results once an event is over (or even after the SP). I always have the option of not opening a thread if it contains an event I'd like to see on tv and be surprised by the outcome (provided I haven't already been to the rink!).
