I think he must realize it on some level, but to be fair to him he was quite young when all that happened and now is more of an adult and making the right choices :biggrin:

I didn't know his dad said he betrayed Mishin though, it is all pretty dramatic :)

And speaking of all things Skate Canada, it seems we're not the only ones who (initially) forgot poor Urmanov. During commentary of Sasha Petrov's FS, Tracy Wilson and her co-host mentioned Kulik, Plushenko, Yagudin, even Liza T. No Urmanov... :cry: (But maybe he'll raise a champion of his own one day and will be remembered once more! :))

Urmanov is much more remembered in Russia than Kulik though, so no worries. For NA it's the reversed because Kulik has spent the majority of his adult life there.

Huh, really, I didn't know that. Good to hear. Then again, I'm Canadian, so of course I hear mentions of Kulik more. Personal preferences aside, I do respect all four of these Russian greats. Current Russian men better step it up! :cheer2:

4th stage of the Russian Cup event in Kazan is currently underway. The junior ladies SP has just finished. Alisa Lozko is in the lead and Nugumanova is second.
