Toepick sharpened - are the blades broken?

Hi everyone,

I bought a new pair of blades, they arrived today. When I got to the dealership that mounts all blades in my area, they refused to mount my blades because they say that the blades are faulty because the first toepick got sharpened. And when I looked at my current pair of blades I can see that they hadn’t been sharpened at the toepick so I guess the man at the shop was right? But are the blades really broken because of that? Maybe someone can explain why?
Thank you in advance! :)
Here is a pin I posted on Pinterest where I took a photo of the toepick:

I know sometimes when sharpeners are squeezing out the last life on blades sometimes they will shave that pick down a bit. You probably don't want your brand new blades to start that way. Are they perhaps suggesting you send those blades back and ask for a replacement?

Your blades are not broken; but ruined.

Your blade mounting person is right.

I think you should sent them back for "right of withdrawal" or get a replacement pair.

Were your blades sharpened by the seller or factory?

Also have a look at the tail; is is still flat or also rounded?
