Upcoming Figure Skating Novel

But Amazon reviews are more likely to sell books.

They are right there on the same page as the one-click button.

My grandmother found out I’d written a book and bought up thirteen copies to give to all of her friends. What an absolute LEGEND. :laugh2:

No one asked for this update, but my paperback copy finally arrived today and I’m CRYING. (Inside. Metaphorically. Not really.)

I stumbled upon this thread that I totally forgot I made :palmf: after four years while I was poking around in here for book recs, and I don't know whether I feel nostalgic or embarrassed, haha. I wrote this in my last year of high school and didn't really edit comprehensively, so after a few years I took it off of Amazon because I felt it needed more polishing if I wanted to present it as something others could read. Still, I look back fondly on this time, and am glad to be reminded of how kind everyone was when this book came out.

It's especially timely because after four years and a bunch of other unrelated writing projects, I ended up back at my 'write about skating' default in my final year of undergrad with a duology of coming-of-age novels about a pair of young Japanese skaters. [I wanted to include a screenshot from the manuscript of the now-in-progress second book as a kind of life update, but that's not allowed, I fear...] I guess you could say that all started with FDFMN, so this was a pretty neat thread to revisit.

So. Thanks, everyone, for bearing with me when I was tiny and (more) cringe (thank I am now) :p
