She did a perfect 3A+2T at the beginning of the program. I can't believe how much her jump ability has deteriorated over the past few years.

3A would have gotten < as would the 2T under IJS. It wasn't ratified, or everyone would have talked about her and NOT Mao.

Lovely presentation, though. So soft and light on the ice.

well, growing will do that to you. Luckily mao han't had that problem. She had grown considerably since we first saw her, and her jumps are still very solid.

I think the landing on the 3A was double-footed, too.

Although I really don't like faux ballet steps in programs, the rest of her program was beautifully interpreted, and that dress is gorgeous.

She seems to be working really hard since the last season. She said in an interview that her dream is to get on a podium with Mao as they did when they were juniors.

She seems to have had lots of injuries in past seasons. It was unfortunate that she had an injury again this spring that seems to have trigerred until early summer.

But I hope she recovered well and will come back strong at Skate America.
