I jump CCW, too, which is why that twizzle is so much better. I have a RFI CCW double twizzle in the middle of my footwork sequence (my short, since my long still isn't coreographed) and it flows so well. Then, I get to the CW twizzle and the footwork just completely dies. I started working on twizzle exercises (beyond the basic crossroll, 3-turn, back twizzle one which I can actually do well) and they seem to help. My coach suggested I try doubling the Argentine twizzle, but that didn't work out so well. I guess I just function too much in one direction -- the Ravensburger, with all its twizzles (whch, coincidentally are all in my direction) is my best dance!
Good luck with your twizzles and footwork, Mrs. Redboots! A good start is the basic twizzle exercise, though I find it actually works on your edges even more so than twizzles.
