I'm trying to find out the name of the track used by S.Semanick & S.Gregory for their Long Program in 1988 US Nationals & Olympics. The same track was used by Josee Chouinard in her Long Program in 1992 Olympics & Worlds and again by Elaine Zayak for her short program in the 1994 US Nationals. I've tried all the obvious places using google searches - does anyone have a clue what the song is I'm dying to know? Thanks!

I'm so bored today at work that I went and found this: "Nocturne in Gondora" and "La Gazza Ladra."

I'm not sure if this is correct or even what these pieces are, but I hope this helps - both you and my karma (yup! its one of those days where every little bit helps...)

:) :agree:
The correct title is "Notturno in Gondola". You've probably found the title from the very complete japanese site that lists almost all of the programs titles. Japanese usually mispell "r" and "l", so it is gondola (the special and romantic boat used in Venice). Try to do a google search and you will find this piece done by Rondo' Veneziano.

Thanks guys for the responses, but this is not the portion of the program's music I'm curious to know. It is the opening segment for all three of the programs I mentioned Semanick/Gregory '88 FD, Chiounard '92 Free and Zayak '94 Short. I'm not sure why it's so difficult to find, it's obviously a popular track, but none of the sites (Skate Music List and The Japanese Site) list the piece I am after.
