Which of the 4 disciplines will be most exciting this coming season?

Joe - I think this is what you referring to -- nice!
So, I don't know I thing about this couple - still skating? How did they/do they do in the standings?

Yeah. Emma, they are still dancing but they are number 3 in France so to get into Worlds they have to move up a notch. Hope they do. I just love happy dancing. I can't bare another passionate struggle with life dance.

I think it's Tessa's extensive ballet training and their ability to connect to each other so well that gives Virtue and Moir the big advantage that always landed them on top of Meryl and Charlie. Besides, V & M have much better edge quality, musicality and flow, the only couple out there that reminds me of the sheer magic of Silverstein and Pekarek. I personally prefer Davis and White, so it's to my dismay that I must acknowledge the other team's superiority, but I hope in time Meryl and Charlie will be able to catch up to the expression level of their teammates.

Well, at the end of last season, Meryl and Charlie said that they'll be spending the summer working on their expression, relating to the music, and relating to each other. And from their picture here:

it looks like they're well on their way. ;)

So who knows? Perhaps this season they'll be in a much better position to actually beat V/M.

Personally, though, I think that (once they finish growing) Scott and Tessa will be hard to beat. As you say, they are able to relate to both the music and each other, AND have very good edges, line, carriage, posture (ballet qualities), etc. I hope that Meryl and Charlie will work on these aspects of their skating as well.

D/W have an advantage in that they are able to do much more complex lifts than V/M. If Scott doesn't get bigger soon, V/M might be hampered in this area....
