Will Farrell on Today

Did you all just see Will Farrell drop Meredith Vieira on the back of her head on the Today Show?

She said in the wrap-up, "Blades of Glory opens Friday and my lawyer will be calling you tomorrow."

Oh I missed it - was working out with Gilad I bett it will hit YouTube though. I am glad it wasn't Katy Were they in Rockefeller Center skating?

Yes, that's where they were skating. When I first visited NYC as a child I was dismayed by how small the rink was.

Yes, it was a rinkside interview at the Rockefeller Center rink. Will and Meredith were both on skates. Other people were skating in the background. Then they stroked around a little (he was better than she was). Then they tried a pairs move where the man pulls the lady through his legs. But he did not know how to "stand her up" again at the end, and she fell backwards from a low limbo position and hit her head pretty bad.

In the interview Farell praised skaters for their dedication and talent in mastering such a demanding sport. But he also said, about the sequins and feathers that adorns men's costumes, that it was fun to lampoon something that was not far from the actual truth.
