Will Fumie skate?

Fumie Suguri dropped out of her first two events, the Japanese Invitational and the Campbell's Soup Bowl, due to injury. It was reported at the time that she faced a two week recovery period.

Has anyone heard if she will definitely be at Skate Canada?

I can't say for sure, but her name is still on the roster at Mile One Stadium. Looking forward to seeing her skate!

She apparently practiced today at Mile One Stadium - I saw a report on FSU.

Fumie did skate today in the practice at mile one, I got to see her! so excited. She came and signed autographs today at the end of practice, and she said that her leg still does hurt when she does the double axel. as for how the practice went, it seemed a bit rough at first, but then she seemed to settle in at the end of it. On a more interesting note, Yan Liu from China landed 2 triple axels in the practice today! Can't wait to see the actual competition and see how it all ends up!!
