Which ice skater falls the most during a preformance?

I just wanted to know which ice skater falls the most during a preformance?

I'm gently teasing, takura.

When I first saw the thread name, I wondered if it was a poll about skaters being witches  .

As for who falls - it's anyone pushing their personal envelope. Ice is slippery, skates are narrow, everyone has good and bad performances.

Talk about tempting the SkateGods!!

I'm not gonna try and predict who falls the most....everyone falls!
Especially my favourites! So I'm not even going there.

You hear me skategods? - they're all gonna fall!
k.

Takura - Everyone falls, and some days one skater falls more than another so names don't really mean anything. BTW, are you a skater?

1964...I LOVE this quote! I am always telling myself, "It's not skating if I am not falling." I am not shooting for falling to be the personal best, by I know that I am pushing myself if I am acting as a human Zamboni ;)

Why isn't Sasha Cohen on the list? In the 3 competitions from December to January [Winter Cheesefest, GPF, US Nationals] she fell seven times (3 at WC, 3 at the GPF, 1 at Nationals). In the previous season, Sasha had falls at Campbell's, in two of her GP events, at US Nationals, and in both SP and FS at Worlds '03: a total of at least 13 falls.

This past season, Kwan was in 5 competitions: Campbells (no falls), Winter Cheesefest (1 fall), US Nationals (no falls), Worlds (1 fall), Marshall's (1 fall). She did not fall multiple times in any of her competitions. In the previous season, Kwan was in 5 competitions: Campbell's (no falls), Skate America (1 fall), US Nationals (no falls), Worlds (no falls), Spring Cheesefest (no falls). In 10 competitions, over two years, she had 4 falls.

Is this another one of those "I know my favorite skater didn't defeat a certain skater in (name your competition) So....here's a chance to show that my skater is better than your skater" polls?

I'd vote for either SASHA COHEN or NONE OF THE ABOVE, if they were on the list, but they're not.

Of the ones listed, I voted for Jennifer.......they all fall now and then, ice is slippery after all......... :) 42

no contest. Sasha Cohen. y is she not on the list?
but its not a bad thing that she falls, shes trying jumps that others would never do in a program, not that the jumps are harder, they're just not the normal jumps. and shes a great jumper, she just gets freaked some.

I'm confused. How does someone as consistent as Kwan and Hughes get listed on here and yet Sasha Cohen is completely left off the list? And Weiss and Goebal are present and yet Sandhu isn't up there? I'd say Sandhu and Sasha Cohen are the most inconsistent. They are very talented skaters, but they just have trouble harnessing those beautiful qualities.

I'm with you, Chrystia. Hughes hardly ever fell, and when Kwan falls, it is shocking because she so rarely does. Seems to me this poll was designed by a Sasha fan, and that's why Sasha isn't on the list (even though by all rights, she ought to be). Sandhu belongs there, too, because he has to be the most inconsistent skater ever. Either he skates brilliantly, or he can't land a thing.
