Yuka (pug) goes in for surgery tomorrow

JO - she'll be home in about an hour, actually 
Dee - I will be posting pictures soon, I haven't seen her yet, but I'm sure she looks funny lol I'm such a mean mom
I make her go to the vet, stay over night, have surgery, and to top it off I take a bunch of pictures to embarass her with!
I kept my mind off her being away today by cleaning the bathroom... didn't get to the tub or the toilet, but I clean them more than I do any other part of the bathroom lol

Yuka's home and she is driving me batty. She has a narcotic pain patch thingie and it's making her whine non stop!!!!!
she has a BRIGHT PINK cast (and no fur up to her butt) she's missing hair under her pain patch, her right front leg is practically bald because on one side she had an iv and the other she had a lump removed... her left leg also had an iv in it so she looks like she has mange right now (very gemetrical mange lol)
and she walks so funny with her left hind leg all the way up in the air... I don't think I'll be sleeping much tonight
took a couple of pictures, but won't be uploading them till later (as in probably tomorrow) I have a major paper that I should have worked on all week but I didn't so this weekend is going to be one of cramming

ugh... I want sleep... she is so uncomfy with the cast, and is taking it out on me!

Just a little update, Miss Independant is back, she's jumping up on furnature before we can stop her, she's moving around, eating, and going potty with little prodding
she's also snuggling with me and giving kisses again... so I guess I'm forgiven
though that will end on Tuesday when she goes in for most of the day so they can take off the cast and watch to make sure she leaves her stitches alone (if not she gets a cone lol)

We get to rip the pain patch off tomorrow. supposedly it'll be all done with teh medication anyway so that won't be a problem, but it's like ripping a bandaid off of your skin... and I'm not gonna do it my aunt is because the idea freaks me out (when did I become such a wimp?)
