Interesting how her sp skate fitted so well to les mis. I think David will have a tough time coming up with the better of the Vancouver programs. Her 2013 skating was so good. Yuna can't lose if she goes clean like this. Speed plus jumps. I like her Sp costume more now. I wish they had gone with more color, more of a true period style costume with less sequins/glitter to keep with the character, tho for her LP. I'm very picky re this amazing stage musical (movie was tough0sad really) I love Les Mis -the music, the original book, everything about it is the best thing I have seen on stage, so I'm picky. I envisioned a white or beige top, maybe a navy bodice that laced in front or back, and a mauve colored skirt-much plainer than sequins, but that's figure skating. Gotta have glitz these days.
I really wonder if we will see a serious YuNa next year, or if there will be a light sexy piece where she uses her charm and smiles? Bond and Gershwin brought out her lighter side and her flirtatiousness-it connected well with audience. Wilson is a genius-he knows not to finagle with what works so I don't expect any great departures, but they make it sound "very different." I hate that we have to wait to September-cruel to her fans!!!!
