Yuna Kim

Thanks! Does she mean competetively or she wont skate at all including shows?

- Возникало ли когда-нибудь желание все-таки вернуться и выступить на домашней Олимпиаде, возраст же позволяет?
- Я уже была на двух Олимпиадах, и я думаю, что с меня хватит

- Have you thought about coming back and participating in the home Olympics? Your age permits it, does not it?
- I had already 2 Olympics and think that's enough for me.

Yuna gave an interview to a Russian journalist:

http://rsport.ru/interview/20160214/895966433.html

3 key things:

1. She will not skate again but she will continue to work with Korean skaters.
2. She knows that Russian ladies are doing well now but she does not follow competitions and does not know the names.
3. Ladies do not need quads.

Thank you for the link to the article though I've got slightly another impression from it, I'm just not sure I will be able to explain it with my limited English but I'll try:think: Regarding the question about Russian ladies and favorites for the worlds( the journalist asked her to name the main favorites for the worlds and to give three names who most likely to win here in YOG) I felt that Yuna deliberately avoided to give any names.
Regarding the quads - Yuna also being as diplomatic as possible, so he asked whether the ladies will do quads in the future and if so how soon it'll happen. Yuna answer was: She thinks that it's possible but she doesn't think that Ladies need them. Ladies are growing technically, many of them are good with triple jumps, and she thinks that they will be all right without quads. But, she adds, if always to train quads, everything is possible:thumbsup:

I would not insist on my interpretation. I read it literally:

Честно говоря, после того как я завершила карьеру, я не так пристально слежу за соревнованиями,
After I finished my career I do not closely follow competitions

мне сложно говорить об участниках. Я хорошо знаю только корейскую спортсменку
It's hard for me to talk about participants. I know well only korean skater.

Ekaterina BORISOVA who has just won a Pairs competition with Yuna https://www.instagram.com/p/BBwlOGhkCPl/?taken-by=borisova_kati She wrote "Olympic champion 2010. Can't believe I've met her" :)

Ahaha, and I've just noticed there is Elizabet Tursynbaeva among the comments and she wrote something like "OMG, OMG, OMG when did you meet her! I want to take a picture with her too"

awwww my baby, i hope she will meet her idol tomorrow when Yuna give her her flower (still hoping that Yuna will present sth!) on the podium (maybe i am too hopeful that Elizabet will medal but she has very good chance! )
Does anyone know who attended medal ceremonies to give medals etc?
