Yuna Kim

Katarina Witt said on german TV that Yuna's moment on ice and her lighting the cauldron was her favourite moment of the opening ceremony and a bit of redemption, because Yuna's Gold was stolen in Sochi. :)

ahhh QUEEN!!!! cant believe i cried seeing her lighting the torch, there is noone else who deserved it more! as you all said she looked stunning :luv17:
and off topic but is this the 1st time she didnt wear her tights over her boots?

It was obviously going to be her but when I saw her, I was just so so emotional and proud. She deserves it more than anyone else :luv17: Maybe we will see her at Gala, again?

More then the very lighting I was so thrilled to see her dancing and skating on the ice even though it was such a brief moment :sad21:

Robin Cousins says more fo the same in more polite British way ofcourse lol when asked blank. He did say both skated well, but the judges made their own mind up, it is about that particular panel of judges clearly.

I have no idea what FBF stands for though [emoji848]

Figureskating Best Friend? Forever Best friend?

Funny thing watching the Opening ceremony with a 2.5 year old. When Yuna appears, she goes, oh there's the princess. *lol.. i correct her immediately of course. No no that i's the Queen dear :D*

Woot, changed my avatar accordingly

Now on to hoping we see as much as we can of her in the next two weeks... camera people at the ladies event, looking at you

Tho as much as I wish it would happen, I doubt she will skate at the gala :(
Yeah.
I thought: if she lights the cauldron she's definitely not skating at the gala. 🤷

I missed the open ceremony, But I just saw the news and video clip of Yuna lights the cauldron.
My favorite figure skater of all time -- Yuna Queen

I knew she would lit the cauldron (who else deserve it more than Yuna?) but I was so surprised and happy to see her on skates again. A beautiful and meaningful moment and as always she looked fabulous

That was a GLORIOUS lighting of the cauldron!! Better than the one in Sochi and the (ahem) mechanical error in Vancouver (yes am Canadian and we are still kinda embarrassed about that, LOL!!).

And come on people: we all KNEW it would be Queen Yuna, and nobody else. I mean, they even built her a tiny little ice rink for it!

YES PLEASE

I'm ready for a Yuna cam, especially during the ladies event.

Please let this happen.

Imagine if Adelina had come back, qualified, and they had a separate cam of Yuna just sitting there, watching her compete. Yuna is so calm, I wonder what she would look like if she were to throw shade.
