Yuna Kim

Need to take a poll, do you guys think Yuna will do any triples in ATS? I'm willing to bet good money that she didn't lose all her triples in 4 years, but many people probably want to argue otherwise.

Well...
I bet she can land a beautiful 2A. :luv17:
Triples are hard to keep. But who knows, maybe she kept skating all these four years in secret.
I'm really curious to see how her program will be.
:hap85:
But if I'd bet tbh I'd say her new program won't have any jumps, that would be way too much pressure.
But then again, Yuna always had nerves of steel.

I almost think that if she feels enough pressure off her shoulders to skate an entire show, she probably doesn't feel pressure about the jumps. In fact, I'd be really impressed if she kept skating in secret all this time and can still do a beautiful triple or two consistently. :luv17:

Also apparently ATS tix sold out in <5 minutes!!

What Olympics? I don't remember.

Touché :laugh2:

If she had her hair down= no jump, if she put it on a bun= we can hope for a 2A! (or even a 3S  )

ETA: I have a vague recollection of Yuna throwing in a 2A during a ceremony because she couldn’t do it well in competition but I couldn’t remember which year or what competition. Been trying to find a clip but can’t find it. It’s bugging me now if it actually happened or not.

It did happen! 2014 Korean Nationals, she missed the 2A in Adios Nonino and did it as she approached the podium

Shizuka could still jump 3T and 2A after pregnancy so...should be easy-peasy for Yuna. Shizuka is my favorite, but I have to admit that Yuna was the more talented jumper, and can probably regain her triples very quickly if that's what she wants to do. Perhaps she'll just be like, no thanks, not risking any chance of injury for jumps that won't even be scored lol. I wish they would bring back the Medal Winners Open and Yuna would partake...although I feel like she's not the type who would want to do something like that.

I have a feeling that she might do a jump on this one, because the music she's skating to begs for it. She doesn't need to do a triple, I think consecutive 2As is enough. I didn't realize they stop doing Medal Winners Open, but to be honest, not only she probably would not partake, I wonder if she would even be invited for a reason we don't really need to spell out here. ;)
