Yuna Kim

Yuna's twizzles may have been the most beautiful thing I've seen in months.

I have watched the movie, the first half and second half mood nuance difference, reminds of me the movie.

I thought Yuna looked so emotional at the finale, she really was interpreting the music so well. :cry: This is so bittersweet cause after ATS god knows when we'll see Yuna on ice again.

Ahhh Yuna has beautiful and regal presence in any settings, but Yuna on ice looks the best.:love: It just feels right. I really hope we get to see her on ice more often. Pretty please, Yuna, pleeeeeeeease
I really like the finale. One of the, if not the, best finale imo.:clap:

And I love the dresses for opening and finale. In the opening they look like the dancers from Edgar Degas, and in the finale they look like contemporary dancers.:luv17:

But Yuna's musicality is still the most exquisite part of her skating. God, that was so soft and lyrical and fluid and highly, highly musical. Even if she had some similar movements with Meditation, even when she just accentuated some change of register with simple arm movements, everything flows seamlessly and brings out the music like no other. The music still rings in my head, honestly. She doesn't need to jump.

And it seems like we have the consensus here that the twizzle is the most breathtaking part of it.

two spins and twizzle sequence are arranged at the string accompanied part of this piano piece for that harmonious swelling phrasing.

first half is beautiful and sacred, second half , Yuna's body language has a touch of deranged feeling, if you have watched the movie you will know.

I was actually pleasantly surprised that she and Wilson decided to do a spin rather than a spiral to highlight the piano swell, but it worked better. The twizzle is simply mesmerizing because of how she built it up. Also perfect dress to give it more dimension. The control she had with her blade to accompany the highs and lows of the music is something I miss dearly.

I have watched the movie, I don't think deranged is the right term I will use here, but simply an underlining of the apprehension and the accompanying excitement when you are about to create something new.
 
I watched one of the videos of Yuna and I can say she hasn't lost any of her talent on the ice. If anything, she's showing so much artistry and maturity skating as a woman.

I don't follow her that closely but this is the first time she's been performing since 2014? I knew she was doing something when David Wilson posted a photo of her on his IG. I'm kind of surprised she didn't do anything at the Olympics but nice to see that she still wanted to perform in an Olympic year with some of the best talent around.

I wish tours like ATS with international casts would come to the US again. SOI was lovely but this was so special!

Yuna said in the press conference that she hadn't skate after retiring and that she only came back to the ice again a month ago.
That's how amazing she is. :bow:
 
I'm so happy that we got to see her skating again :sad21: She looked eternal, her movements were as graceful as ever, we're lucky that she blessed us with her skating and beauty again :laugh::love:
 
I've found this the best fancam for the finale!
Please help me decide, at the end of the performance I don't know if Yuna is 1)very emotional cause she's just interpreting the song; 2)very emotional cause she's shook with her own godliness her perfect performance and all the love she gets from the audience; 3)very sad cause the show is over; 4)exhausted and never wants to do this again.
