Didn't really expect to be posting in this thread, as I am not a fan of Yun-A. (I do think she's a great skater. After what happened at Worlds last year, she's probably the best ever. But, I just can't take to her personality...)
Anyway, given that these have been on YouTube for about 4 years (and given that this thread has 186 pages!), they have probably been posted on here before. But, I only came across them today (thanks to Lorna Brown for posting the links on her Facebook profile), and I just had to share.
First, here is Kim Yun-A doing a duet with Kim Tae-Yeon, from the group Girls Generation:
Can You Hear Me?
Yun-A is very good in this performance. But, Tae-Yeon is still better at singing it... which is what you would expect, as it is one of her songs!
Plus, I have to admit that I am probably biased because I like Girls Generation!
But this next performance is just something else. In it, Yun-A is singing solo with just a guitar and a piano as accompaniment. It is a cover of a song by Narsha (Park Hyo-Jin), from the group Brown Eyed Girls.
I'm In Love
This performance is absolutely beautiful. My eyes were welling up in no time!
That said, I listened to Narsha's original version afterwards, and it had the same effect. It is absolutely beautiful too!
After hearing these songs, I am seriously starting to think that Yun-A could have a very successful music career when she hangs up her skates.
We all know that Korea is mad about Yun-A, so any record she released would sell like wildfire at home anyway, just because her name is on it. But, she is a good enough singer to have a very successful international music career even if she wasn't who she is.
This girl has a real talent.

, it will be good to see her in the entertainment industry but she said she had no tension so maybe she will be a coach? haha, i just hope that she don't think about being in IOC after 2014 russia ... she doesn't' fit in with her great personality, she deserves much better than that
Only Hope, Gold, and Lark Ascending are my favorites!
