Japan Open Figure Skating Results
The Japan Open Figure Skating Results from 1997 to present. From 1997-2001 all four disciplines participated in the event, although there was no event in 1998. No events were held between 2002 and 2005. Beginning in 2006, the event was sanctioned by the ISU. The new scoring system (CoP) is now used, and single skaters compete using a “team” format.
The 2020 and 2021 events were originally planned as an Open International Competitions (as per ISU Communication 2171), but due to the COVID-19 situation, were held as a domestic event.
The competition for 2024 was cancelled.
