2023 European Figure Skating Championships The 2023 European Figure Skating Championships will take place January 23-29, 2023, at the Metro Areena in Espoo, Finland. The event is sanctioned by the International Skating Union (ISU) and is one of the four (World, Four Continents, and World Junior Championships) annual figure skating competitions designated “ISU Championships.” Skaters must belong to a European member nation of the ISU to compete and must be at least fifteen before July 1 preceding the event. The 2021 Finlandia Trophy is currently scheduled to take place in Espoo, Finland, October 8-10, 2021. It is the third in a series of nine events of the 2021-22 Figure Skating Challenger Series. The Challenger Series was established by the International Skating Union (ISU) during the 2014–15 season and the events consist of a group of senior-level events ranked below the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating.
