I stand corrected, the score is pretty decent after all! Close to their SB. Vainiak/Barshak into 1st.

The team that I particularly pull for (the Polish one) 3rd out 5 so far. I missed their RD but I will watch it now!

A lot of British Isles interest at the start of this group.

Although there are no skaters representing Ireland in this competition (the Hegartys don't have the minimums), there is actually some Irish interest in the partnership coming up now, Milla O'BRIEN / Laurin WIEDERKEHR (CHE).

Although she was born and raised in Switzerland, Milla O'Brien is actually half Finnish and half Irish. (I love the way that her name reflects both sides of her heritage - she was given a Finnish first name to go with her Irish surname).

Not only that, Milla and Laurin are coached by one of my skating coaches! Alisa Agafonova.

Best of all, they are VERY promising!
