If he could get that 3Axel consistent and perhaps a quad, He could really be a major threat, his presentation is at the top of the list...as you were..
Ryan Janke went from being that 6th, 7th ranked US Skater to being a "head turner" @ worlds. Brian Joubert always had the ability thus his 3rd place finish @ 2002 Europeans, just he wasn't able to make it. Besides I voted for Chengjiang Li, consistency in jumps/nerves seems to be getting better, thus his 4th place finish @ worlds...as you were..
Wasn't Sergei around 23rd at Worlds last year? And then to skate beautifully in the final flight at Worlds this year? (He should've been sixth, Mike Weiss in 7th, IMO, with Joubert moving up to fifth, if his QR would allow him to place that high). Gotta go with Sergei.
But I saw Li at Bofrost and wasn't too impressed with anything but the jumps. But at Worlds, wow, what an improvement in presentation!
But I still gotta go with Sergei (who also got robbed by Mikey at Bofrost. Hmmm.)
Laura, who has nothing better to do on a Saturday night than vote in polls
Davydov is definatly one of those skaters to watch out for. Maybe in a year or two he can win a world medal. Brian Joubert also reeaaalllyyy improved in almost everything.
