I'm watching it on cbcsports.ca, but I can't do PBP right now since I'm not really paying attention to the first group.. never heard of these people and they're not that interesting, haha.. but maybe later. Go Shawn, Joey, Kevin, Ryan, Adam..!!
They're re-showing the SPs of Kevin, Brandon, Nan and Denis. Is it just me or do Brandon's spins travel a lot?
I think most of the first group have improved alot. But regardless of what happens tonight in the free skate, for my money that short program of Kevin Reynolds was a masterpiece. It had it all, the jumps, spins, footwork, connecting steps, musicality. He was brilliant and I have just about everything crossed for him tonight. Men's figure skating is alive and well for a long time to come in Canada. The depth is truly amazing.
ITA he showed what the program was supposed to look like, which was not as clear in some of his earlier outings in the season. Missing key jumps have a way of doing that. But his 4CC SP was just spectacular. It was like Kurt Browning (Artistry) meets Elvis Stojcko (Jumps).
I really believe Kevin Reynolds should be going to the Olympics.
