I think age has something to do with this. Michelle also said that when she was younger, she just loved to do double run-throughs of her programs at every practice. -- "Whee, let's do it again."

Now, maybe once is enough, LOL.

Michelle too said in a fluff piece relatively recently that she used to NOT think about or believe in the idea of peaking, you were just always on and getting better, whereas now (that she is older) she thinks about gearing up to a particular point ...to peaking.

Even so, I can't wait to see vids this weekend!

And I hope we CAN get vids this weekend. It's not being telcast in the US until the following weekend - right?? (I hope I'm wrong about the TV schedule, and also that several fans manage to sneak in their video cameras!!)

Particularly since we will not see more than 8 of the 12 contestants in the meet. There will be fluff pieces galore.

Campbell's is tomorrow everybody.

With all the recent injuries and withdrawls.......it is hard to predict who will win the competition

Actually it is easier now.

Sasha will win the ladies event. Shizuka second, Kimmie 3rd.

Weir will win mens. Expect Lysacek 2nd and Weiss 3rd (he wants to prove that he belongs). Not sure where Goebel will place- anywhere from 2nd to 4th (in that case the other 2 could be bumped)

Without the withdrawals, it would have been an exciting 4-way (Irina-Michelle-Sasha-Shizuka) and an exciting 4-way (Plushy-Weir-Buttle-Lysacek) competition.

I threw out a last minute prediction out in another thread.

I rarely do this, but I really have this feeling that Shizuka will win...

You heard it here first.

Shizuka will win if Sasha has another klutz attack:laugh:

Though I like to see Kimmie in the mix and hopefully will put a performance similar to the one she did in Portland at the 2005 nationals

Yeah right......lol
