Good point. Alexander Zvinin. I can only assume the Hungarian Federation and Team Leader Gurgen, who are very pro Russian, got him a ticket to travel with and represent them. But still dodgy nonetheless.

As long as the country hosting the competition grants them VISA, I think Russian coaches can go to competitions.
Also Dudakov was in the K&C with Egadze. The Georgian pair had their Russian coach with them at Nebelhorn too IIRC.
I think the ban by ISU refers to skaters and officials (judges, technical specialists, replay operators, etc) while coaches are not mentioned.
Actually, we have the situation in which ISU banned Russian judges from officiating in international competitions but at the same time ISU admitted Russian judges to take the examination to be promoted last month.
