Wow, that will be a very tight turnaround for Adam and Kevin! I wonder if either of them will even go, especially if they do the Gala at the GPF. With the time change, I don't even know if it's possible for them to make it to France in time for the SP.

Totally agree regarding Adam and Kevin . The SGPF is about same week ends the dec 10 and no sooner than the French Nat'ls begin I am surprised they are listed for Nat'ls.
I would think they have to WD from one to skate best .
But than alot of sports do weekly competition.
I wonder if that is why Adam did back to back GP events.
He skated like he expected to skate in GPF and than next week his Nat'ls.

Pitot is at the JGPF, so it will be tough for him, too. But I doubt any of these men will withdraw.

Does anybody know what is happening with Senior Ice Dancers Elise Montaner / Linus Colmor-Jepsen? We haven't seen them at all this season, and neither of them really posts to their Instagram accounts. So, I don't know if there are injury issues, or if they have split, or what.

Honestly, my gut feeling is that they have split. It wouldn't be the first time that Linus has had a short-lived partnership. In fact, it is the norm. The only partnerships he has had that have lasted more than one season are his original partnership with Kamille Viggers (3 seasons), and his partnership with Sofía Val (2 seasons).

From the end of the 2013-14 Season (when his partnership with Kamille split) to the end of last season, he had 5 partners in the space of 9 seasons. And for three of those seasons, he didn't actually compete in Ice Dance. So, it's really 5 partners in 6 seasons.

It's got to the stage that I'm starting to wonder if he is hard to work with.

After his second partnership split, Linus had a season out of Ice Dance, followed by a season skating with his older sister, who had no previous Ice Dance experience. I have always viewed this partnership as a temporary stop-gap to keep Linus' toe in the water until he found a suitable partner. But now I am wondering if Leonora got roped in because nobody in Denmark actually wanted to skate with Linus, because he already had a reputation of being hard to work with. Was this actually intended to be a permanent partnership, but it didn't work out? If so, it would certainly be telling that even a partnership with his sister, who he had lived with his whole life, didn't last past one season.

I really hope that these thoughts are way off the mark, and that Elise and Linus are in a happy partnership that is temporarily out of action for some reason. Because they looked so promising last season. Especially considering how many years Elise had been away from competition of any sort.

They were removed from the World Standings during the off-season so I’d say almost certainly that they’ve split.

The figure skating part of the opening day of the French Championships consists of both sets of Synchronised Skating Short Programmes. 4 Junior teams; followed by 1 Senior team.

Since they are being done as one group (so to speak), I will do a combined post.

According to the livescoring page, the Warm-Up has started. But there is no sign of a livestream yet.

I know I haven't finished watching the Free Dance yet (I've got up to the end of the Group 2 Warm Up), but I was planning on watching the girls LIVE, and going back to the Dancers during the gap between the Ladies SP and the Pairs SP.

So, hurry up and get the stream up! I don't want us missing any programmes, like what happened with the Short Dance.
