• The 2023 Cranberry Cup International will take place Aug 9-13, 2023, at the Skating Club of Boston's ice facility in Norwood, Mass. The event will feature the singles discipline (Men and Women) in the junior and senior categories and will be conducted in accordance with the 2022 ISU Constitution and General Regulations, the ISU Special Regulations & Technical Rules Single & Pair Skating and relevant ISU Communications.

Pairs have the John Nicks event
Ice Dance = Lake Placid

But there is also the Cranberry Open (held in conjunction) which is a domestic event and will feature pairs.

Last year both Philadelphia International and Cranberry International advertised a pair competition. They ended up not having them. I am assuming they didn’t get enough entries? But that was last year.

Also the first Cranberry International had pairs and ice dance (though I realize they only had ice dance because the arena in Lake Placid was being renovated.

But this is the first Cranberry International that hasn’t even attempted to have a pairs competition.

Perhaps if many of us emailed politely they would change their mind on the stream? I did so. It can’t hurt anything. I told them I would be happy to pay for it.

There was a free stream the first year, a paid stream the next year, and no stream this year. I don't know why, but I emailed and politely let them know I would be happy to pay for a stream and I hope they change their mind. I encourage others to do the same.
