In the “it pays to be nice to people” category, the lovely people I sat with yesterday came and moved me to the Zoom suite. No food, but a nice comfy couch and it’s warm with its own bathroom. While I dream of someone dropping a free ticket to the Boitano lounge on me, that’s not likely. So I’ll have to muddle along with the private restroom here

I was nervous at times but I'm glad they made it through. The throw sal was very nice.

They were very slow and Newby-Estrella looked scared the entire time. Which made me scared. Ouellette also hits some unaesthetic positions on the lifts.

Don't get me wrong, I love pairs, but it still baffles me that they chose to put pairs in the Saturday prime time spot. The women or dance would have been smarter.

I'm sure that these first few teams are proud of all of the work they've put in to get to this point and the fact that they made it to the national championships, even if they're not going to win any medals.
