The "head and shoulders" comment, it was said by Buttle, not Chan. So why take that out on Chan? He can't help it if people like to put him up so high. So yes, it is silly and ridiculous that Chan go the heat for that.
Folks, let's put it this way....
It's always better to have crazy fans gushing over these youngsters like Chan, Mao, Kim...than nobody cares about them or reacts lukewarm towards them. It is only good for the sport. This sport needs these talented young skaters to attract more audiences and viewers. That's one of the reasons why their local media is so hype about their skaters. It's all good.
If you find that annoys you, maybe just don't read articles about them.
