That performance brought many new fans for FS and Plushy, too.
Many italians for sure.
Didn't like that program tbh, but I agree with Sandpiper. A godsend compared to everything else that night.

awesome, all these wonderful memories of Russian FS! Thank you so much for the link!
How wonderful, great skaters certainly recognize each other, even in the early stage.Yes, there's a lot of great content on that site. Here's a nice clip with 18-year-old Plushy and Victor Petrenko - Plushy talks about his admiration of Petrenko and Victor calls him the future of figure skating.
Torino OG brought many new fans for him not only in Italy. He gained many fans in Greece, Mexico, and he has fan club in Brasilia too. In 2007 his agent and friend Ari Zakarian organized a show tour in England but Plu changed that plan because he undertook a large-scale sport show anchorman's duties. Victoria Beckham wanted to pay a lots of money if Plushy teaches their children. Plushy didn't do it. Many people wrote they voted to Dima Bilan's song because of Plushy...ect.
I will ask my friend who once studied in Russia, she is very good at it.A new tv interview with Plushy was just posted. I think most of it is about how much better he feels now compared to 6 months ago...really wish I could understand what he says at the end about the other Russian guys though (Voronov, Gachinski, Kovtun...)
I have Plushenko's programs in Vancouver with NBC comment. Are you guys interested?
Sure

Better if you download the videos on your computer, because the quality is much better rather than watching it on FB:
Use this link: http://en.savefrom.net/
Copy and paste the link and download. No need to install any program.

from his official:
Except part which is already translated, Plushy also talked (again) about Sochi withdrawal and surgery. About current men's skating today, he said that Yuzuru Hanyu is skater from "another planet", that worked with him on some jump details during the show last summer because Yuzuru asked him for advice. About Russian younger skaters - will be interesting to see Artur Gachinski with new coach... about Kovtun.... maybe they can be among first 3 skaters in Europe, in World among 5th... he can not say anything specifically, because they are unstable, not consistent...

Thank you, Alba, for the videos. I'm a bit nervous about watching the NBC version because I'm afraid they'll make my blood boil (again). But at the same time I'm deadly curious.
I just watched the SP and was pleasantly surprised! Much nicer than what I remember of the Canadian commentary. They're not so bad. I must say Scott in particular was respectful and nice towards Plushy.
They're. We can see them in Europe because it's Olympic channel.
Those from CBC are geoblocked on youtube as well.
I agree with him on all accounts.
