On my hunt for Hotels it seems the prices have gone up by a lot over 2020. I finally found one for around $210 night (before tax) with a 12 minute walk to the arena. In 2020 I was able to book for around same price practically next door to the arena. The closer ones are over 300 a night from what I have seen. You may want to book early.

I was surprised (and not in a good way) by the price of tickets for this year's SCI. Though I don't have exact figures, I believe they were more expensive than for GPF in Vancouver and SCI in Kelowna.

All-event tickets will be priced at: P1: $350, P2: $300, P3: $275, P4: $225. All prices are in Canadian dollars, plus applicable taxes, and fees.

Yeah... for a GP, 300 or around there (with taxes and fees) for the cheapest option is getting there... I mean... GPs are usually held in two long days.. So it's getting up there. I am very afraid about the prices for upcoming worlds... the good news for me is that I don't have to travel... I was considering going to Vancouver for SCI, but then, I thought I should just wait and see how much it's going to cost me for the week at worlds....

I don't think the top price has gone up much, but the lowest price has. I think I paid about $100 each for the GPF tickets, which were the cheapest or almost-cheapest seats. Note: A GPF is a bit longer than a regular GP, but not by much. It has 12 pairs instead of 8 and 12 dance teams instead of 10; also has more zamboni breaks because each discipline is split between juniors and seniors.

Not only are the cheapest seats a lot more expensive, but I get the impression that there are very few seats under $300+fees.

I booked a place last weekend for just under $1K for five nights (I'm in the US so I benefit from the exchange rate). I generally like having an apart hotel for the kitchen to make my own breakfast, snacks, etc.

I booked the 1BR, which looks nice and is about a 10-15 minute walk to Centre Bell. There is a studio that is cheaper but the bed looks like a sofa bed and it's practically against the kitchen area, so it was a bit too cozy for me, lol. If you want to stay with friends and split the cost, they have apartments up to 3BR/2BA.

I'm hoping ticket prices won't be too crazy. I also have a airline credit with Air Canada from my canceled flight from 2020, so I'm hoping it won't be too expensive. I'm actually more concerned about the hotel prices in Boston for 2025 than Montreal.

The Holiday Inn & Suites is within a couple of blocks of the Bell Center and has nice big rooms and lots of amenities for $209. The Warwick Le Crystal, where we were supposed to stay in 2020, has very nice, large rooms for $229 and it is also very close to the Bell Center. Both have indoor pools, restaurants, and generous cancellation policies. These are rates with senior discount.

Air Canada would NOT give me a refund in 2020!! I am not flying them this time!

Does anyone on this thread have any idea about how to get the best tickets for Worlds? Or how to find out as soon as possible when they go on sale? Perhaps this is another thread...

I stayed at the Residence Inn on Peel St when I went to SCI in 2018. I'd like to stay there again but will probably be shocked at the price. The rooms are really a small apartment with a full kitchen. The rate includes a great hot and cold breakfast, and they are very lenient about allowing food to be taken out of the dining room...I have to check the map again, but my recollection is that it is fairly close to Bell Center.

Adding: Talked to the hotel. They said it is a 10-15 minute walk depending on how fast you walk.

Just saw on the Worlds web site that it says tickets will go in sale in the summer. Found some info that for the previous Worlds.scheduled for Montreal in 2020,the cheapest tickets were $630 and top price was around $1,800 USD. I'm assuming that's for an all-event ticket.

I just booked at the Sheraton that is very close to Centre Bell. I'm going with my daughter, who will be 11 at the time, so I figured we'd want to have a very short walk when we're walking back to our hotel in the dark (and cold!) after the evening competitions. They have rooms for about $200-$210 USD so that seemed pretty reasonable to be so close, although I would have loved a place with a kitchenette.

450 CAD is the starting point this time around for all-event pass. It includes all practices and the gala. Quite cheap.

Making later plans than most of you and unsurprisingly the hotels are expensive. I’m looking at a much cheaper option that isn’t downtown but is right next to a train station and would be about a 15 min subway ride from the Bell Center. So at least when the events end I can sit on a heated train and only have a couple minutes walk in the March cold. Anyone else looked at any other creative solutions? Unfortunately I’ll be driving up so that adds the complication of putting my car somewhere.

I'm in the same boat. My go-to solution for this kind of thing has been booking places through Airbnb. I haven't booked a place for Montreal yet, but I'll know it when I find it. ;)

I am no AirBnB specialist. Just look carefully because I heard that most AirBnB in downtown Montreal are illegal... and that can become a problem at any time for various reasons. So if you want to stay close to the venue, it may be best to look at traditional accommodations.

If you're looking for an Airbnb style place, the Sonder Maisonneuve still has rooms available. Link is in my post above.

That's indeed very close to the venue. It's in the Concordia University neighbourhood. Very active neighbourhood.. Should be relatively easy to find food and whatever you need. There are sketchy spots here and there like pretty much everywhere downtown.

Do they even have all event tickets? The advertisement on Sk Can website links to ticket master and insane daily prices.

For most events, all event tickets go on sale first. Individual tickets are offered some time (sometimes months) later. Once the individual tickets go on sale, there are no more all event ones.

Made the hotel reservation today so I guess I’m going! Expedia had a great deal on the Hilton Garden Inn Midtown, near a subway stop that goes straight to the Bell Center. I still need to buy tickets, not looking forward to how expensive that will be….
