Dick Button didn´t have a quad, and Plushenko only need his one quad before Sochi.

Evan Lysacek won an OGM with out a quad, we can all agree that now to do that will be imposible.

Dick Button is from the ancient time.
Plushenko and Kovtun technically went against each other in national, so they belongs to the same era. Even in his prime Plushenko couldn't land 4S as Kovtun.
Evan Lysacek is a joke, he won thanks to politiking.

Kovtun has not reached his top yet. He already has 3 quads. Ha!

He was just 17 at that time, he went to Worlds by himself! No one was there to support him. Russian Fed put too much pressure on him. He was still growing and didn't adapt to senior yet.
