First of all, thanks Mrs. P for starting this thread. It's a place we can go to for warm, fuzzy feels.

And this will never grow old to me: Javier understanding and tenderly comforting his Cricket brother Yuzuru who was crying, overwhelmed by a complex mix of emotions: happiness for Javier and regret for his own performance.

That is truly amazing - thanks for posting!

Many thanks Mrs. P for this heartwarming, adorable thread! It is refreshing.

Oh? What is this? A thread about bromances?

Well then, there is only ONE appropriate picture.

Denis seems to like to take selfies.

Also, is it just me, or does it seem like the competition and relations are a lot 'healthier' between the men than the ladies? I don't think I have ever seen actual genuine selfies and fooling around like this between the ladies of different countries. I think it's actually reflective of the way guys and girls are in regular social settings perhaps, hmm.

I really think it's dependent on the personalities.

I always thought the ladies of Team Japan -- Mao, Akiko, Miki, Kanako -- were actually quite friendly with each other. I think part of it is they're always touring together (multiple times a year), so plenty of time to get acquainted with one another and to enjoy each other's company. Team Japan, in general seem to get a long.

Also, speaking of bromances---Nobunari Oda is just adorable when he cries tears of joy after Yuzuru's win in Sochi. The Japanese guys seem to get along great too despite the pressure cooker over there.

Also, it's definitely clear that Soyoun Park and Zijun Li have a cute BFF thing going: https://instagram.com/p/01PbC8JiMy/?taken-by=happy_soyoun
They got spicy rice cakes together during 4CC!!

Jason seems to love these gals too (and he has a nice friendship with Polina it seems)

I think what helped the bond between Yuzuru and Javier is not only the fact that they train together but that they have not necessarily been seen as great rivals to each other. For the past few years it was Patrick Chan who was the dominant one and everyone else were the promising upstarts trying to take his top spot. With Yuzuru's Olympic and World win last season, and now with Javier winning World championship along with his consistent accomplishments at the Grand Prix and Euro's, they have become chief rivals. It will be interesting to see how it goes from here...

But don't forget that Patrick Chan will be coming back. He and Denis Ten are both capable of really great technical and artistic programs so this is not a two person rivalry anymore. Along with Nam, maybe it's going to be Cricket Brothers vs the World thing, LOL.

By the way is Misha currently dating Elena I? His instagram seem to imply it (refer to her as his sweetheart and partner, or is it just for the show), can someone confirm?

So. . . I guess I am the only one that read this as Mishin and was very confused.
