I was also very impressed by the young Gachinski and it was really wonderful to see Grishuk & Platov skating together again...

As I understand it, they met up again when doing the Skating with the Stars show in Russia. They talked, they made up - and saw they could occasionally skate together still!

Anton was just elected to some political position. I am not sure how time-consuming that will be, or what his intentions on continuing to skate.

Plus he has his business (es?) to run as well.

It's funny...I've actually never heard Sasha being lazy. Being at the level that she was, there's no way she could have gotten so near to the top while being lazy you know?

I think there is a difference between being hardworking and being disciplined. Sasha is not lazy, but she is headstrong, which often makes her less organized than she needs to be.
