There's a brief video clip of Takahito Mura talking about the upcoming Legends on Ice show here on the official webpage. He sounds a bit tired and subdued. There was even a Meet and Greet with him a couple of days ago. Too bad there are no photos or video of his meet and greets; even his Facebook fan page has been silent. :(

Thank you for the links. Interesting that Mura is not wearing his wedding ring in the retirement ceremony video. Also, some big fans of his in Japan have put pictures of the Ecco meet and greet on Instagram. For example, the user Geeks On Ice 3A has a nice variety of photos from the event in early March. Takahito is barely recognizable in those photos wearing glasses and casual clothes.

Takahito Mura was a good sport trying harder entrances to his 3axel at the Continues with Wings show. Yuzuru and Sano were encouraging him:

Can anyone translate what Yuzuru says about Takahito in his intro?

Takahito will also be having a Meet and Greet at Sogo in Yokohama in mid-May. Glad to see his pro career has taken off. He will also be skating in the Mao Thanks tour!

I don´t have the complete translation. But Yuzuru talked about the time Mura and his father were training/ coaching in Sendai, how they helped him with 3A and described Mura as a "dependable big brother"

Mura was Yuzu's greatest help in regards to jumps!
Their jumps are completely different. Yuzu's is about timing and delicateness, Mura's is power and strength. But despite that, Mura has helped him and seen his jumps from a different angle.
When they were training together in Sendai, and he couldn't jump the 3A Mura and His dad helped Yuzu.

Mura, the dependable older brother. -as introduced by Yuzu.
Above is the quick translation I made while watching the show. I'll see if I can find a better translation.

Sorry for my speculation. The Mao Thanks website and theme of pastel colors is beautiful. The tour starts in just a couple of weeks. I'm grateful to see all these amazing skaters and shows through the internet even when there's a break from the competitive schedule.

Takahito provided commentary for a TV station (ABT?) on Yuzuru Hanyu's parade in Sendai. He will also be featured along with Akiko Suzuki in a sports show on Asahi TV on 4-23. I'm hoping it will be online on YouTube or the station's website later.

Also, Takahiko Kozuka provided commentary on the parade for NHK, with Suzuki commentating for another broadcast. Glad to see the retired skaters are still getting publicity and involved in the sport in some capacity.

Thanks, I'm so glad to be able to see this show online, although I can't understand Japanese (trying to learn!). It looks like Takahito spend a lot of time talking about Yuzuru and the demonstration of a jump with a wooden doll was entertaining. If those clips of little Mura skating are cute, you should see some even younger photos a fan put on Instagram. I'll post a link if I can find them again. He looks to be only about 3 years old on the ice, smiling in a puffy coat.

Here's an article about Mura wanting to spread the love of skating to the younger generation though the Mao Thanks Tour. The article mentions how usually ice shows were only in major cities and tickets were very expensive. He hopes to reward himself with a BMW if the show is a success. The article's in Japanese but I got an understanding of it through google translate.

https://www.orangecheers.co.jp/ Takahito will be doing guest commentary for 4CC on Fuji TV this week! Their site should be biligual for fans overseas, methink. :)
