Hmm I guess they used BOW in making these choices. I'm fine with them. It will be very interesting to see how they stack up at Worlds.

Question I noticed all disciplines have alternates list but pairs.
Does U S. Figure skating have enough pairs?

I am happy with these wonderful skaters named.
U.S Figure Skating has a tough time chosing the team because of the many good skaters they have in juniors

I believe they are the only three pairs with the minimum scores. Park and Griffin were at Bavarian Open but did not get the minimums. So no alternates.

Surprised Sherry was chosen. She's my favorite junior but I thought junior eligible skaters from senior nationals would be given preference. Not complaining, just surprised.

Logan won junior nationals and would normally be assigned JWC like in previous seasons, when Soho Lee (2023), Clare Seo (2022) and Lindsay Thorngren (2020) were sent.

The depth in U.S ice dance is incredible, to see Ilin/Cain as 3rd alternate after their wonderful performances at youth olympics.
