Holly Molly! Yuzu was KO in a split second, it looks way worse for Yuzu than it looks for Han though we can't know for sure.
I am sure it was completely unintentional but I think Han Yan should have been more careful

From this comment, it seems like you're blaming Han for the accident.

Considering Han was going about 15x the speed Hanyu was at that point, your comment should be reversed even though it's silly to try and point fingers.

Any theories on why Nam Nguyen's PCS Is three points lower than Skate America? I mean his performance wasn't as good as Skate America---but that's a big drop--and it's behind Misha Ge even.....

I'm trying to understand where the cut came from, because Han Yan was going straight on and it looks like Yuzu tried to duck and go sideways, so most of the impact was from Han Yan's chest area. Probably from when he hit the ice? And Han Yan clutching his face...My heart is sinking, I want him to withdraw. I find it hard to stomach that someone with such a mature way of thinking cannot absorb the idea that he has to withdraw for his own health. I'm hoping Orser manages to convince him before it's his turn.

Slowmo of what happened... it seems scary that if Han Yan felt bad enough to withdraw, the injury on Yuzu should be significant too...

That's quite an irresponsible thing to say right now? Han Yan was the one trying to stop. Both of them didn't see anything in time.

From the video alone it's hard to say if Han Yan was at fault - it's hard to know what he was doing beforehand and from how far away and from reports it sounds like he was trying to stop or prevent it. I just hope they are both ok!

Yeah, I was watching the JP TV feed and he was just as surprised that when he turned to attempt a jump there was Yuzu whose back was onto him and he tried to stop, but they both just had too much velocity to stop.

He wouldn't make it to Barcelona, the Grand Prix Final. But he won't withdraw.

The referee has the power to prevent skaters from competing for their safety, no?

British Euro guys said "There is no medical stuff"
and I don't think JSF has their own doctor to examine him properly.
