That is, unfortunately, what I am expecting. Metelkina was competing with a lot of strapping for part of last season. I would not be surprised if this ends up being her last season, I expect her team to try to grab as many medals as possible.

This is perhaps the only chance for Team Georgia to get a team event medal at the Olympic for so many reasons.

At this point though, I see a lot of progress in the Canadian and Chinese pairs and if the Georgians come to JWC, it may not be an automatic win for them unlike last couple years.
